What You Will Need 1⁄2 yard of 2 or 4 way stretch fabric 58”- 60” wide Matching Thread Overlock machine / zig-zag stitch on a regular sewing machine Cut 2 waistbands using measurements in written instructions Pattern Assembly  Sew both small sides of the waist / hip band (1) together with 1⁄4” serger stitch (use example piece above) Fold the waistband in half at the fold line to create a double layer Open the cut inner circles (2) and sew both sides of both circles together Pin the inner circle (2) to the inside of waistband/hip (1) with right sides together Serger stitch waist / hip band (1) piece to asymmetrical edge (2) with 1⁄4” stitch (pull pins before stitch if using a serger) Sew serger seam down with zigzag or cover stitch (adds a reinforced finished look, but is not required) Tack down serger chain on both sides of jagged edge (2) using a straight or zigzag stitch (Fray check can also be used) Follow Along Video https://youtu.be/aJ3zQXpC-m0
